Experience

Principal psychologist Hernan Diaz, is a registered psychologist, who's experince in psychology dates back to 1997. Hernan's vast experience has greatly helped in assisting clients overcome their issues and achieve positive outcomes. His experience includes working at major private practices in Sydney, working with the refugee rehabilitation organisation STARTTS, and working in corporate coaching for a major Australian bank. Currently, Hernan also works with one of the largest Employee Assistance Providers (EAP) in Australia.

Evidence Based Approach

Hernan assists people transform their lives through proven evidence based approaches. He believes that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is integral.  As such, therapy is tailored to the needs of each individual client, meaning that clients receive treatment that is targeted to their specific situation and personality, resulting in better outcomes. Hernan’s therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which has been empirically proven to achieve positive outcomes for clients. 

Education

Hernan was trained at major Australian Universities, ensuring that all clients receive the highest level of professional care.  Academically he has been awarded an undergraduate degree from the University of New South Wales, and 2 post graduate degrees, one from the University of Sydney and the second from Macquarie University.
